<image:title>Daycare & Boarding - Super Dog Camp aka Board-and-Train</image:title>
<image:caption>Going on a long vacation? Come back to a happy, rested, and well-trained dog! Our two-week Board and Train program is custom designed around the training needs and temperament of your dog. Prior approval is required for this training, so email Anthony prior to booking to discuss your dog’s specific needs. If your dog has been through Super Dog Camp with us, but needs a refresher or some targeted training, we offer Touch-Up Training. Just tell us what you would like us to focus on with your dog, and we will work on it while you’re gone. That way, we can continue to hone those skills your dog learned at their initial Super Dog Camp training or add to their skillset while you’re away.</image:caption>

<image:title>Paul Bio - Paul Mann , NADOI-C Behaviorist & Trainer</image:title>
<image:caption>Paul is a certified professional dog trainer and behavior consultant specializing in therapy dog training. As a pack behaviorist, helping an owner improve their relationship with their canine companion by looking at things “through a dog’s eye” is one of his passions. Teaching owners to establish a fun, trusting, and balanced relationship is his goal. He became interested in therapy dog training after searching for ways to fuse his love for animals and his desire to help individuals with disabilities. He is a Certified member of the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (NADOI), an evaluator for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program, and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. He has a degree in Psychology from the University of Texas and has worked with individuals with multiple disabilities at the Austin State School and through special education programs in public schools. Paul began working with dogs through the Lee Mannix Center for Canine Behavior (LMCCB) in 2005. Impressed by Lee Mannix’s methods for utilizing a pack behavioral approach to improve the relationship between dogs and people, Paul interned under Lee and became a senior trainer and behaviorist at LMCCB. He continued his work through The Canine Center for Training and Behavior (TCCTB) until deciding to join the Heart and Paws team in 2019. Today, he continues to work with individuals with disabilities as the head trainer for therapy dog programs run by the Austin State Hospital and Divine Canines. <image:caption>From the earliest days of her childhood, Kelly Springer has been deeply connected to the world of animals. Growing up, her days were filled with dreams of becoming an animal trainer, a passion that was nurtured by her family’s belief that every animal, no matter its circumstance, deserves love and care. Her home became a sanctuary where she was known as the neighborhood’s go-to person for any rescued animal, no matter how big or small. Whether it was a stray dog needing a warm bed or an injured bird requiring gentle care, Kelly never hesitated to lend a helping hand. This lifelong devotion to animals naturally led her to pursue a career where she could make a difference. Today, as a certified professional dog trainer and behaviorist, Kelly continues to live out her passion by dedicating her life to helping animals in need and guiding their owners to build stronger, more meaningful relationships with their pets. She specializes in agility training, using it as a powerful tool to strengthen the bond between dog and owner. Kelly's classes are designed not just to give dogs a physical workout but to challenge their minds as well, ensuring they leave feeling both fulfilled and ready for a well-deserved rest. Students who attend Kelly's agility classes often arrive with dogs brimming with energy and enthusiasm, eager to begin their training journey. Through Kelly's expert guidance, these dogs learn to channel their energy in positive ways, returning home not just physically tired but mentally enriched. Kelly’s unique approach to training, which blends discipline with compassion, leaves a lasting impact on both dogs and their owners, fostering relationships built on trust, understanding, and mutual respect. To this day, she still does everything she can for an animal in need. Kelly teaches agility as a tool to build the relationship with both dog and owner, whilst giving the dog a workout of the mind and body.
