Cancellations for private lessons require a 24-hour notice or are subject to 100% cancellation fee

    Class Make-ups

One free make-up for missed class per class series. Additional make-up sessions are $25.

Please try to delay any surgeries for your dog until after classes end so you do not need to miss any classes.

  • Camp Health and Safety Protocols

Summer is right around the corner, and a big part of Hearts and Paws is our summer kids camp - Club Pup. We want to give an update on our Club Pup Camp Covid policy for 2022.

This will be our third year of operating summer camp during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and our number one priority continues to be ensuring that everyone stays safe and healthy.

As CDC policies and recommendations are changing daily in response to the rise and fall of documented cases in our communities. Hearts and Paws will keep apprised of these changes and will continue to follow the CDC guidelines throughout the summer.

Currently, with Covid cases declining, masks will be optional during the 2022 Club Pup season.

Please be aware of your child’s health when sending them off to camp every morning. We ask that all families keep their campers home if they have a fever or any Covid-like symptoms. This is our best protection from spreading the virus to other campers and their families.

Hearts and Paws counselors will encourage frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizer throughout the day, as well.

    Orientation/Assessment

Orientation is an important part of preparing camp and is required for all first-time campers and those campers bringing a new dog. It is important for the dog, camper, and parent attend. It is especially important to assess your dog’s temperament and also to familiarize them to our facility with positive reinforcement. Sometimes on their first visit, dogs think they are going to the veterinarian and become stressed.

Orientation will cover our success guidelines “B.L.A.N.K.E.T.” to help you prepare for camp. At this time, we will also fit your dog, if necessary, with a no-pull harness. The orientations will be scheduled in 45 minutes blocks on Saturday afternoons.

    Hygiene and Sanitation

Proper hand washing and hygiene are one of the best ways to stay healthy. We have increased hand washing station areas to include two outdoor stations with water, soap and paper towels, in addition to the bathroom and kitchen area. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the training areas also.

Campers will be required to bring their own water bottle with their name on it. Water coolers will be available to fill up throughout the day.

Each camper will have an assigned chair for daily use one inside and one outside and sanitized at the end of day.

Thank you so much for your understanding during this challenging time. It is our wish that you, your camper and family can stay safe and healthy. We appreciate your continued support and if you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
