Our Training Programs offer Multiple Paths to Success with your Dog

 

Group Classes

We have multiple options for fun classes for you and your pup to learn everything from basic manners and obedience to dog sports! We use humane, effective Positive Reinforcement training methods that make training enjoyable for you and your pup!

What makes our Group Classes Training Program successful?

  • Large, comfortable Classroom: Indoors & Climate-Controlled

  • Small Student-to-Teacher Ratio: We limit our classes to ten dogs with family members (6 years and older).

  • Child-Friendly: We understand that your child participation in learning training skills enhance the whole family dynamic.

  • Reward-Based System: Easy to implement and does not require force and fear of punishment to get results.

  • Repeating a Class (Basic Companion class only) - Upon completing a class, you will receive a $10 certificate for any future class.

  • Play Groups - Our Puppy Start class includes a socialization time for friendly puppies.

Private Training

This is a flexible and effective way to train your dog(s). Lessons can be at our training center, the convenience of your home, or a combination of both. We can target specific problems such as frenzied greeting/house-training specific to your environment. We also teach basic manners (sit, down, come, walking on a leash, etc.) in a more concentrated format than a group class. For a customized program to meet your needs, Hearts and Paws has well-trained staff to attain your goals with your dog.

Lessons are available daytime, evenings, and Saturdays. Cost is determined by location and duration of lesson. Typically, a private lesson at Hearts and Paws training center is $125 per session, while a private lesson performed at home or a nearby location is $150 per session. An extra $25 per session is added for aggression cases. Discounted packages of three or more available. Email Paul to get started!

SuperDog Stay-and- Train Program

Turn your dog from an ordinary pup to extraordinary canine in two weeks at SuperDog Camp! Here we will teach your dog the basics from start to finish. Sit, stand, down, come when called, walking on loose leash, bed stay, polite greeting behavior, and more. The SuperDog Board And Train program is designed to fit the needs of each dog, every dog's needs are different, and we are here to design the best camp experience for them!

Behavior Counseling

You may not be sure where to turn to find help for your dog. With our behavior counseling and training, help is on the way. Contact us to meet with one of our behaviorists, who can evaluate your dog and recommend a behavior modification plan that can make a real difference in your life and your dog’s life.
