Private Lessons

 

Private lessons are an alternative to group classes for your puppy or adult dog. They are customizable to your specific needs and schedule.

When you take private lessons, you meet one-on-one weekly for an hour with one of our certified trainers to accomplish your training goals. In between your lessons, you'll have homework to do -- practicing your new skills with your dog!

Private lessons can be done in your home, at our facility, as well as out and about in public settings.

Private Lesson Options

Private Lessons at Hearts and Paws (On-Site)
Private Lessons are available at our spacious training facility located at 13291 Pond Springs, Austin, 78729, where one of our trainers will meet with you and your dog. Cost is $125 per lesson. Discounted packages of 3 or more lessons are available.

In-Home Private Lessons
With In-Home Private Lessons, a trainer comes to your home for the lessons and trains you and your dog in the comfort of your own home. Due to COVID, we can also do the training in your backyard if you prefer. Cost is $150 per lesson. Discounted packages of 3 or more lessons are available.

Private Lessons in Public Settings (Off-Site)
We will be happy to help you proof your dog's training skills in public settings, such as your neighborhood, parks, retail districts or your favorite coffee shop patio, among other locations. Cost is $150 per lesson. Discounted packages of 3 or more lessons are available.
